PVC pipes

PVC pipes are used as cable pads for cable protection.

PVC pipes are used as cable pads to protect cables in power industry and telecommunications. They are provided with a neck, making it easy to join pipes. They are manufactured in three load classes for different load environments. Their spectrum of application is wide. They can be laid freely in the trench, poured into a concrete mixture (e.g. when tunnels are built) or can be pushed under the road, rail, etc.

It is produced by means of PVC-U extrusion, which corresponds to the standards CSN EN 31386-24 and DIN 16875. The pipes have a neck. They can be easily joined by sliding. If there is a requirement of a stronger connection or sealing of the joint, the pipes in the socket can be glued with a conventional PVC adhesive.
