Cable cover plates are used to mechanically protect cables (both power and communication) and piping systems stored in the ground. At the same time, the cable cover plates fulfill the distinctive and warning function (description and color). They replace cable protection with bricks or concrete plates. In comparison with these materials, they are prefered due to their longer service life (minimum 30 years) and considerably less demands on transportation, handling, storage and laying (1m the widest PVC plate - 300mm - weight 0.75kg).
