Press technology is one of the oldest in plastics processing. The inlet material can be compressed in a two-part heated form which is placed on the pressing mold. The material is heat-plasticized and by means of mold pressing it becomes a product. This technology makes it possible to produce products with thicker walls than injection or extrusion technologies.
